Popsicle!

The last few warm days of the year and poor Ashley is cutting a tooth and battling a cold, so I made her a popsicle from her apples and pears baby food. She ate about 3/4 of it and then decided to pull it off the stick and play with it!

First Steps!

Ashley took about 4 steps on her own today. However, she was in no mood to be recorded after that. Later on, she started to take a couple steps right before we were heading up for bed. She was tired and a bit crabby, but I caught it on video (she wanted to grab the camera)

Another Trip Downtown!

We couldn't have had a more perfect September day to spend in the city visiting my longest friend, Tricia. We took Ashley to the Lincoln Park Zoo and then to North Avenue Beach.

Ashley's New Discovery

Ashley randomly started doing this and I happen to have the camera nearby to catch it.

For the first Illinois football game, Ashley had to sport her Illinois Sweat suit! It was chilly enough for her to be comfortable in it but warm enough to go outside and take some pictures while she lounged in her chair. She got quite lazy in her chair as I took more and more pictures (She has been my test subject for figuring out my new camera!)
