15 Month Appointment

Ashley had her 15 month appointment today.  She stood on the adult scale and weighted 20 pounds with clothes, diaper and shoes on!  She even had a big lunch right before, so she probably isn't quite yet 20 pounds.  She's still about 20th percentile for weight, which is staying on the same curve.

She stood against the wall for the height measurement (I think it's height now that she stands vs length when they are younger).  She was 30 inches, though it was a little hard to measure exact since I had her hair up in the whale tail.  Still maintaining 50th percentile for height.

Her head was 19 inches, which is like 97th percentile!

Poor girl is skinny with a huge head!  He said she's just small but growing right on track.  This girl eats and eats and eats!  Maybe she'll be one of those lucky people that can eat and be skinny :)

She had two shots, one in each leg.  She was super emotional during the visit, so it was no surprise she screamed for the shots.  She recovered quickly and has been playing ever since we got home.

Next Appointment is in February at 18 months.  No more shots until Kindergarten!!  February seems so far away, but maybe that's because it's 65 degrees today!?!?

UPDATE: The following Monday, November 29th, Ashley had a red mark at her injection sight.  After a couple days, it didn't get better.  On Friday, December 3rd we went to the doctor and it was Chicken Pox!  He said it was not the contagious kind, just a reaction from the shot.  She's lucky if she gets away with just 2 pox!
